Dia de Portugal Awardees
The Luso-American Education Foundation has celebrated “Portuguese Day” since June 10, 1966. In 2007 the Luso-American Education Foundation implemented the “Día de Portugal Award” to recognize an individual contribution to the Portuguese Language and Culture, and contribution to the community where he/she resides. In 2017 the LAEF expanded the honor to organizations and societies by implementing the “Organization Award” to recognize organizations that have contributed to the benefit of the Portuguese language and culture, and to the Portuguese community.

Wall of Fame
The Luso-American Education Foundation has celebrated “Portuguese Day” since June 10, 1966. In 2013 the Luso-American Education Foundation implemented the “WALL OF FAME AWARD” to recognize an individual contribution and support of the Luso-American Education Foundation. To qualify for this ward the individual nominated must be a member of the Luso-American Education Foundation.
